Travel Subsidy for Remote Area Teachers – provided through a grant from Google Australia:
To facilitate attendance by remote area teachers, we have available a limited number of subsidies to assist teachers to attend the Dig Tech Skills Expo to be held on Saturday TBA at Mountain Creek State High School on the Sunshine Coast (Eventbrite link to come...). The subsidy totals $200 and is limited to those teachers who are teaching in 2023 at DET schools with a remote area points allocation of 4 or higher, or at a non-government school where the nearest DET school has one of those ratings. A guide to ratings for DET schools in Queensland is publicly available here.
If you qualify for the subsidy then you will need to follow these steps:
